My parents founded this business, and my dad and Uncle still own it, so is it any wonder that I dragged my feet becoming a trainer? I've been in and around the gym since I was eight years old, and have been working fulltime in it since I was twenty-one. While I've only recently gone out and gotten certified as a trainer, that doesn't mean that I haven't been training people throughout the years.
I believe that you don't have to come out looking like a body builder or a pro-athlete in order to get in shape, and that everyone has their own unique set of goals. It's about looking the way you want to look, feeling the way you deserve to feel, and being as awesome as you know you can be.

My clients meet their personal fitness goals in one-on-one, pairs and group sessions, and I’ve helped lead both men and women’s high school track teams to championship competitions every year since 2009.
I’m a lifelong runner with a passion for coaching and fitness. I launched my professional training career launched after earning a B.S. in sports management in 2006.
Today I privately train clients ranging in age from 12 to 80, and hold a position at Whitfield as assistant coach for Whitfield School’s Cross Country and Track Teams.

My methodology is is based off extensive training through the National Academy of Sports Medicine Certified Personal Training models. NASM-CPT is built around the Optimum Performance Training™ (OPT™) model, the industry's first training program founded on scientific, evidence-based research. I have studied a diverse range of specialties to address my clients’ varied needs— whether is it weight loss, recovering from an injury, performance enhancement for athletes or just getting back into shape —I work with each individual to create the correct program for their personal needs.
I am a lifelong athlete with over eighteen years’ experience. I understand the scientific rationale for integrated strength training while always keeping an eye on overall wellness. I personally believe that fitness should be safe and challenging without being overwhelming. My sessions can be intense, but I pay attention to each client’s potential and limitations. And above all, we will have fun because choosing the right training regime will cultivate a sustainable lifestyle change.
When I’m not training, I enjoy hiking, cycling, reading, photography and traveling.
